I love living in Exmouth! The Nor'West Cape offers such fabulous wildlife and beautiful scenery that each day brings something that helps rejuvenate my soul and put a smile on my face. Like all of us, sometimes I let time slip by without taking the time to just relax and enjoy what's right around me. Over the past couple of weeks I have tried to get out into my own backyard more often, as you can see from my recent posts, and I figured there would be no better way to round out the month than to add another post filled with a few of our resident creatures!

Underwater on the Ningaloo Reef
I went out for a lovely dive to one of our favourite sites in Exmouth Gulf on Friday. There was an incredible amount of action and critters - it was an awesome dive!

Whale Sharks are everywhere from Exmouth!
It's been a quiet week for me here on the blog as I was trying to finish everything on my To Do List so I could head out for an awesome Whale Shark Adventure with my diving company, Exmouth Diving Centre. The season has been so busy for me that it's the first time I've been able to sneak out - and we started whale sharking back in the middle of March!
It was an incredible day out. We watched humpback whales, snorkelled with manta rays and turtles and EIGHT different whale sharks! Better than I could have hoped for! The Ningaloo Reef is always so spectacular, I love living here!

Whale sharks!
We expect the season to continue for at least another few weeks so I'm hoping I get a chance to head out again before it ends. Stay tuned...

Exmouth mornings
I never used to be a morning person but now it is my favourite time of the day. I try to get down to the beach before the sun even comes up with our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks most mornings for a good long, peaceful walk. I love seeing the diversity of light and sky each day. Here are just a few sunrise skies from our recent walks.
Some mornings we're there so early that it's still dark & we walk by the light of the moon!

Liz & Paul - sneak peek wedding album
Liz & Paul's wedding at the end of March was gorgeous and there were so many great moments to choose from that I could have created a 100 page album but I didn't think anyone would be able to carry it!
This is just a sneak peek at a few of the pages that I've created just for them.

Ryan, Kellie & Kirra - Family Portraits
I love this family - and not just because they are my own family! They are not only totally gorgeous, but also the nicest and most fun-loving people you could hope for. They came up to Exmouth for a bit of a holiday last week and arranged to take some time to do some family portraits as "all we have are shots from our cell phones!" The weather didn't cooperate fully with us as it was very windy and the skies were mostly a flat, dull - if bright - grey during our sessions but we took advantage of momentary glimpses of blue sky whenever we could and definitely got some that are going to look awesome blown up and hung on the wall!
Kirra was far more interested in finding treasure in the sand than in having her photo taken
Ry & Kel considered their options
and tried a little interaction
before resorting to full on goofiness behind me while I tried to stop laughing long enough to take some photos of Kirra playing on the jetty
She's such a cutie!
All the excitement of the holiday and the beach were too much so it was time for a bit of a nap in the safety & calm of mom's arms
