Delivery - Nikki & Michael's wedding album

You may remember Nikki & Michael from their August wedding at the beautiful beach side Novotel Ningaloo. You may further remember the sneak peek of their wedding album. It arrived in my hands yesterday and it is simply beautiful.

They chose to stay with a simple layout, classic black leather cover with silver embossing and what I consider to be an excellent size for an album of this caliber: 13x13 inches (33x33cms). The full layout for Nikki & Michael's wedding can be seen in the online gallery but here are some photos of the album itself...gorgeous!

It comes wrapped in black linen inside it's own protective storage box

The pages are luxuriously thick

and hand bound

Their album is a combination of black linen matts

and panoramic double page spreads.

Each page has photographic prints that are individually hand mounted. The book opens to lay flat and the binding is superb.

Simply stunning

Jade & Aaron - it's a surprise!

Aaron called me a while back to arrange the photography for his upcoming wedding. A groom calling to make arrangements without input from the bride is a bit unusual and I was intrigued. He then told me that the wedding was to be a surprise...he hadn't even proposed yet, but had arranged the venue, guests and the photography! He and Jade, his lovely bride-to-be, had fallen in love with the Exmouth beaches on their holiday here in July, so what better place? Brave man, for sure. But it all worked out: Jade accepted and the wedding was gorgeous!

Jade had all of the bases covered with last minute advice

a little bit of courage

and a banner proclaiming it a done deal

She finished getting ready at the Novotel Ningaloo after having hair and makeup done at the local salon. What a gorgeous bride!

Her stunning dress was kept a secret from everyone but a select few

and was a multi-person, multi-level affair to don

The perfect Exmouth beach wedding shoes

Aaron & Jade chose to get married at Turquoise Bay on the pristine white sand with the gem-coloured waters and red Cape Ranges as their backdrop. The sky was blue, the sun was brilliantly bright...and the wind was about 30 knots! But nothing could put a damper on the proceedings.

The bridal party headed up to the Lighthouse Hill lookout for some fun photos

and then to the calmer Gulf side to escape the wind! They wanted to take advantage of the huge termite mound and the isolated red dirt road

and then the wedding party went a bit Outback Gangsta

Caught stealing a kiss

Back to the Novotel Ningaloo for a few bride & groom shots on the beach

Happy anticipation

of a kiss

Their sea-theme reception details were just perfect down to the flip-flops on each guest's chair

The last of the colourful sunset behind them on their room balcony

The hairdressers from the salon were having their Christmas Do and had their hair all done up elaborately...so they had to have a shot with the bride. She still outshone the fanciest of styles!

It was a beautiful day!

Jade & Aaron - I wish you all the happiness for a long life together!

Joy & Bruce - the secret's out!

Joy and Bruce told their friends and family that they were simply taking a little holiday around Western Australia. But secretly they decided to get married in a private ceremony on one of our lovely beaches!

They were the most passionate and completely head-over-heels in love couple, it was a true pleasure to document their special day. We had a glorious evening for the ceremony, if a little breezy!

After their vows, Joy & Bruce filled a small vase with sand from the beach as the sun turned golden behind them

It took a couple of people to hold the official certificate on the table, but the wind couldn't dampen their happiness

I loved how playful they are

Bundegi beach provide a serene background to a little private beach walk and a stolen kiss

You could feel the love radiating off these two the entire time

They had a perfect evening sky as they headed back to the Novotel Ningaloo for a glass of champagne and the start of their married life together
