Canvas trio from the Fantastic Jackson Family

They're here!  In early October I had a relaxed session at Exmouth Oval with the Jackson family. They chose three 12x12 inch canvas prints as part of their package and we decided to have one little girl per canvas. Each canvas turned out beautifully in its own right, but hung together as a set they look amazing!

I only took the time to take a quick shot of the trio on the couch in my office as I knew the family was waiting eagerly for their prints and canvas to be delivered...maybe one day I'll be able to get a shot of them hanging in their places of honour!

Global Illuminations in Exmouth, Western Australia

Saturday, 4th October 2008, was the Pink Ribbon Global Illuminations cocktail party at the Novotel Ningaloo for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Major sponsor Yannarie Solar (Straits Salts) sponsored one of the pink lights that adorned the marina bridge. I was hired to photograph the event and the beautiful, newly pink, bridge.

Nikki & Michael's wedding album

October has been a busy month here with many photography opportunities and a quick trip overseas for some diving. Please pop back as I will be trying to get more posts up soon!

I am working on the finishing touches for Nikki & Michael's wedding album and hope to send it off for printing in the next few days. They had a bright, perfect wedding day at the Novotel Ningaloo at the end of August. They have chosen a leather bound, fully matted 13 inch x 13 inch premium album - it's going to be gorgeous! Here's a sneak peek at a few pages:

The pool area of the Novotel provides a sparkling counterpoint to the darker Exmouth Gulf in front of the resort

Michael couldn't pass up a chance to check out the footie scores!

Off to Wakatobi

Today I am flying to Bali and then to Wakatobi for a short diving holiday.  I am looking forward to exploring the pristine reefs surrounding this private island and to lazing on the beach between dives!

I will not have access to my email or my phone while I am away, so please be patient.  I will be answering all messages on 19 October, when I return.

Qantas Emergency Landing in Exmouth

Tuesday I was contacted by the Sunday Times/Perth Now, part of the NewsLtd group, to shoot the unfolding scenes from the forced landing of a Qantas flight coming from Singapore.

The images were published in several newspapers around Australia, on PerthNow's website and on ABC news here in Australia. You can click the PerthNow link to see the whole story.

It was a very different experience to my usual photography and I hope to do more news in the future.

Fantastic Family

Friday I had the pleasure of working with a great family.  We had three generations and the family pooch, too!

All four grandparents were on hand
