True Blue portraits
I had the opportunity to do some portrait sessions at a remote station here on the Nor'West Cape and it was a big change from the white sand beaches! The horses weren't very interested and mostly just stood snoozing

Kade & Zack
Yesterday was the first of my Winter Portrait Sessions and I had fun shooting Kade as he played with his cars and bounced on the trampoline. His younger brother, Zack, was happier to hang out with mom and dad but rewarded us with a huge grin a few times!
Who can resist such a quiet moment between father and son?
I really enjoyed my time with them and hope to do more with them in the near future!

Winter Portrait Special
I am back in Exmouth after a wonderful month in the United States! I wasn't able to post much while away as I did not have consistent net connection most of the trip, so I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things now that I am home.
It's summer in the northern hemisphere and I'm finding the cold winter mornings here to be a bit of a challenge! But the warm days are glorious with beautiful blue skies and deserted beaches.
This is the perfect time to create timeless photographs of you and your family and I'm offering a special portrait day for next Saturday, 16 August. Sessions are $75 and are available by appointment only. Every session also includes a FREE print of your choice.

Belated congratulations!
I'm currently overseas and have not had reliable net access all month, so the blog has been a little barren! Now that I've found a minute or two on a good connection I wanted to say a very belated congratulations to Steve & Louise on the birth of their first son, Trent James.
He's already a month old now and I am looking forward to meeting him when I return in August. Their maternity sessions were fantastic and I can't wait to add some beautiful baby and family shots to their collection!

Little things
It seems only fitting that this post be about babies since last week I did some maternity shots and talked about big things. I love taking photographs of babies - they get the best expressions and it's the one time in life that a little drool actually adds to the pictures!

Big things
Big sharks
Monday I went out with the largest fish in the sea, the mighty whale shark! The day was simply beautiful and the whale sharks were popping up everywhere for us.
Big features
I have some new features in the works for my Kristin Anderson Photography website. Soon there will be even more photographs to browse through and more information to help you. I expect to have the first new feature up by the middle of June.

I am working on creating some special packages and promotions - for kids, couples, families and weddings - so watch this space!
Big trip
My plans are coming together for my big excursion to South America and cruise to Antarctica in 2009. My friend and superstar cruise travel agent, Amber Blecker, has organized the flights and our land based itinerary for Buenos Aires and Igazu Falls. I'm very much looking forward to this photographic opportunity and to sharing what I know with the others in our group!
