Jade & Aaron - it's a surprise!

Aaron called me a while back to arrange the photography for his upcoming wedding. A groom calling to make arrangements without input from the bride is a bit unusual and I was intrigued. He then told me that the wedding was to be a surprise...he hadn't even proposed yet, but had arranged the venue, guests and the photography! He and Jade, his lovely bride-to-be, had fallen in love with the Exmouth beaches on their holiday here in July, so what better place? Brave man, for sure. But it all worked out: Jade accepted and the wedding was gorgeous!

Jade had all of the bases covered with last minute advice

a little bit of courage

and a banner proclaiming it a done deal

She finished getting ready at the Novotel Ningaloo after having hair and makeup done at the local salon. What a gorgeous bride!

Her stunning dress was kept a secret from everyone but a select few

and was a multi-person, multi-level affair to don

The perfect Exmouth beach wedding shoes

Aaron & Jade chose to get married at Turquoise Bay on the pristine white sand with the gem-coloured waters and red Cape Ranges as their backdrop. The sky was blue, the sun was brilliantly bright...and the wind was about 30 knots! But nothing could put a damper on the proceedings.

The bridal party headed up to the Lighthouse Hill lookout for some fun photos

and then to the calmer Gulf side to escape the wind! They wanted to take advantage of the huge termite mound and the isolated red dirt road

and then the wedding party went a bit Outback Gangsta

Caught stealing a kiss

Back to the Novotel Ningaloo for a few bride & groom shots on the beach

Happy anticipation

of a kiss

Their sea-theme reception details were just perfect down to the flip-flops on each guest's chair

The last of the colourful sunset behind them on their room balcony

The hairdressers from the salon were having their Christmas Do and had their hair all done up elaborately...so they had to have a shot with the bride. She still outshone the fanciest of styles!

It was a beautiful day!

Jade & Aaron - I wish you all the happiness for a long life together!
