Exmouth Lighthouse Bay wedding photography - sneak peek
We headed out to the overlook at Vlaming Head Lighthouse (the lighthouse is under construction and super ugly at the moment) for some after wedding photos and the storm clouds over Lighthouse Bay were amazing. The sky, ocean and coastline created the perfect backdrop for a quick kissing dip!

I'm so happy to have this working again and I appreciate the patience you've shown for this little hiccup.
Now I can get back to editing the last couple of weddings, creating knock-out albums for my recent couples and enjoying all the fabulous things about the photography biz that I love instead of fighting with my computer system!

Exmouth surfing
I popped out to Dunes Beach to check out the surfing action yesterday over my lunch break. There wasn't a huge swell running but as it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon there were still plenty of surfers hoping for a few waves.
I mostly just relaxed against a dune and watched the ocean and enjoyed seeing each surfer make the most of whatever wave did come along. There was even an almost collision which was exciting. A lovely way to spend an hour or so - I want to make an effort to get out there more over the coming months as I really like the action and shooting in these conditions is a challenge.

Congratulations John & Emma on your engagement!
I just heard that two of the most super happy fun people got engaged the other day! John proposed to Emma while they were in Venice, Italy. How romantic!
John & Emma were two of our instructors a couple of seasons ago at Exmouth Diving Centre (my other job!) I was just toying with the idea of creating my own photography business back in 2007 and they were game to head out to one of Exmouth's beautiful beaches one late afternoon to let me experiment on them.
We had a great time - they couldn't keep their hands off each other (or stop kissing for too long at a time) and the whole session was laughter, giggles and goofiness.
Huge congratulations to you two - I know you're going to have an awesome life together!

NEWS: No email access
Unfortunately, my switch over to the new machine is not going as smoothly as I had hoped and I cannot yet access my emails. I have high hopes for tomorrow, though!

NEWS: Time for a new laptop
Just a quick note to let you all know that my trusty laptop died a quick and painless (for it) death yesterday. It was all working fine and then BAM nothing. No warning at all, it just wouldn't start.
I don't edit or store photos from my weddings or portrait sessions on my laptop, so there's no fear on a delay in processing or a loss of images. All of that type of work is done on my desktop and immediately backed up to at least one external drive.
However, my laptop is my connection to everything outside my office. All of my emails are dealt with on it and so I finally come to the point - if you have emailed in the past couple of days, please be patient while I get an alternative email system up and running as I can no longer access your messages.
On the bright side, it looks like my Computer Guy was able to save most of the information on the laptop's hard drive which means that I should be able to get to your recently sent emails in the next 48 hours or so.
If you do not get a response from me by Friday afternoon, PLEASE either resend your email or give me a ring on 0438 433 356. You can, of course, ring me earlier than that if you wish!
