Sometimes having a big, "tough" dog is a little embarrassing. Some people might see my Rhodesian Ridgebacks and think "Ooo, those are big dogs. Scary!"
Somehow even though Dora's cuddly toy of choice is a tiger shark, it just doesn't scream "I'm a vicious guard dog" to me.
I don't think so either. I used to have a ridgeback and he was the biggest, dork and chicken I ever met. Unfortunately thought people will always make their assumptions.
