Please please for me.
I am new to doggy rescue (Shar Pei Rescue Qld) and the photos I take of my fosters are atrocious. Being able to understand how to take pictures that actually make the dogs look good (well they do but my photos make them look bad) can only help them attract their new families.
At the moment they either get my sorry attempts posted or I have to wait until friends can travel out to see me and try to get pictures.. but that is dependent on their availability and time to come out....oh and of course the weather.. for some reason is usually rains when they arrive. **sad face**
Soooooo please consider helping a photographic illiterate nerd to take decent pics for the rescue shar pei.

I've heard this is the rockingest book about running a photography business ever. Me!
People have been telling me that I have a good eye for photography and that I should do it for a living - this might open the door to that world for me!
Aloha,
Heidi Miller
Looks like a great book! Would love to see if I have what it takes to make it as a pro. Thank you!
I recently picked up my first DSLR this summer and have fallen in love. I've been learning a lot on my own and through friends and its been quite a journey so far. I'd love to win this book and continue furthering my photography knowledge! Thanks =)

Sorry, Mark here
Forgot to tell you why! I am a student who just picked up a DSLR a couple months ago. Still working out all the technical stuff. I'm learning a bit, but would really benefit with a guide to work off of.
Needless to say, I'm quite terrible at photography, but I enjoy it quite a bit. I hope to open a studio someday, but at the rate which I'm at, that will take a while. Who knows right?
Having an insight would really help me out at this point. Both for guidance and direction.
Thanks,
Mark

I know i'm like the 8/9th person on the list, but i'm still going to try anyways. I really love photography, and as i grow more and more knowledgeful in it, i started to look into welding photography. And this is definitely going to be a great book for it. Thanks for reading, and thanks for the offer!
I am newly wed and recently graduated. I would like to learn more about being a photographer and hopefully have my hobby pay for itself a bit since money is tight. Thanks for considering!
Ok, Here it goes. I am moving to Albania with my wife and 18 month old daughter to help with a foundation that serves the needy, abused and neglected. I love photography and have dabbled at the advanced amateur stage but would love some free tips! I want to capture moments of beauty as well as the hard truths of the lives we will touch and convey them back to those who support our work.

2009 was a great year for me. Got Married had our first child. Started my Photography business. I am so lucky that my wife is so supportive of me following my dream. I have read so many forums and articles relating to photography to step up my game. I know this would be another big help for me as we start off 2010. Thanks for your time.

I'd love a copy of this book! I recently purchased a Nikon D90. I love it. I have a desire to take better pictures now that I am a Mom. I'd like to try and get myself established in the next year or so, so that I don't have to return to the office, but have a work from home job, photography (although I know it won't be "at home" all that much)
Plus if a friend of mine opens up her own studio.. I might be able to help! :)

I am slowly transitioning to a new field and I believe I've found it in photography. I have taken numerous exposures "just for fun" and folks are expressing interest in puchasing them and I've been asked to shoot portraits and one wedding and I have not a clue on how the business end of photography works. It reads as if this book should answer those questions.
If I'm not one of the lucky ones, I'm thinking I'll purchase a copy irregardless.
Have a great New Year!

Dane's work is amazing! I'm going to buy this book anyways. Any tips that he is willing to share are worth so much to those of us just starting out. You really have to have the passion and will that and his guidance you can be on your way to success also.

Being new to photography this year, I have found an appreciation for capturing moments in time that will forever live on in the photographs I take. being able to learn how to better myself as a photographer can only make those moments in time more spectacular and meaningful for myself, and for those that appreciate my work.

Good Morning Kristin! First off what a great idea and thanks for having it up! I would like this to help myself get on track with where I want to go with photography. I have most of the gear but not the confidence yet. A bit more technical and literature like this I think I'll be ready! Thanks for posting ! POTN!! Have a great New Year!
