We are overly spoiled here on the Ningaloo Reef and I rarely spend much time with turtles as they are so common & abundant on our dive sites. But yesterday this guy was Mr Personality so I spent ages watching him and eventually he started buzzing me!

Ningaloo Reef Exmouth dive
I have had four awesome dives over the past two days so check back for lots more underwater images (and, yes, I'll get some from my April dives up, too, LOL)!

Novotel Ningaloo Exmouth wedding - sneak peek
Kylie & Julian's wedding was awesomeness!
After the wedding we headed to Bundegi & the Lighthouse with the wedding party...stay tuned for some amazing sunset photos! In the meantime, here's the sweetest couple at the end of Bundegi Jetty with Exmouth Gulf behind.

Dragonfly afternoon
This pair of huge dragonflies were bopping erratically all over our back patio this afternoon. I actually went back inside the house because I kept getting nailed in the noggin'. I didn't think I'd stand a chance capturing them so I stood in the doorway and just watched as they tore up the air space.
And then something changed and it felt like they just might take a little breather. So I ran to my office, grabbed the camera that was on my desk and charged back to the door to find them snugged down in a plant. They were so close to the door that I had to stay in the house.
They gave me a single frame.
I am happy.

Destination beach wedding in Coral Bay - Kristine & Jesse
Kristine & Jesse had a picture postcard day (if a little breezy!) for their beach wedding in front of the Ningaloo Reef Resort in Coral Bay. Remember their sneak peek from weeks ago? Kristine had so many special details and beautiful choices for everything from her amazing wedding dress to the jewelery she designed to the cheeky cake topper.
It was such a full day it was hard to stop myself from putting 100s of photos up, so I've tried to be tough with myself and only include a reasonable number (though I couldn't resist all the kissing shots - they couldn't resist each other on the day!) You can see all of their photos in their gallery, of course.

After getting her hair done at the salon, bride & bridesmaids got ready in the Penthouse at Ningaloo Reef Resort against a beautiful back drop of Bill's Bay

Kristine had a special wedding gift hand delivered to Jesse as the guys were getting ready. Jesse was extremely touched; his groomsmen were extremely curious.

The guys were busy as the girls were getting ready - they set up the ceremony site just behind the rocks (which was great as it blocked the wind perfectly) and made a super cute heart in the sand

Jesse & his groomsmen were happy & ready as the bridesmaids started their walk down the aisle.

And there were tears all 'round when Kristine & her Dad came down

Congratulations on your marriage! You are both awesome and I wish you the most happiness throughout your lives together!

Cheating with a Ningaloo Reef dive!
I've been a terrible blogger again this month. To those of you who keep checking in to see if I'm still alive, a huge thank you! I am alive and well and slowly but surely catching my breath. I sincerely hope to be more prolific blog-wise in the coming weeks!
Today is a seriously swamped office day for me so I'll tease you once again with a quick shot from the sea - there will be more weddings, special offers and full posts coming soon. For real. I promise!

Friendly Exmouth local
Yesterday I came out the front door to find a gorgeous racehorse goanna (also called a bungarrow) catching some rays in my driveway.

They've got such impressive claws

After I edged a little closer to him, he leisurely strolled up the driveway to my car and stared at the back tire for a little while

Even lizards must find that sort of thing pretty boring as he meandered around the front of the car and then settled under our olive tree for a little shade time

I think these guys are so pretty
